What makes The Hair Design School different? If you want a career in hair, we’re the school that specializes only in hair. It’s all we do and we think we do it better. Specifically, we cover three areas:

If you want to do hair for a living, we’re the place to learn. You will need a cosmetology license to qualify to cut hair. We provide the education to pass the exam. What’s more, you gain hands-on experience in our student salon.
There is nothing like working with real clients. You’ll quickly discover that people have different types of hair including course and thick and fine and wispy. People also have different face shapes, so a cut that looks great on one person might not look so good on another. You’ll gain the experience to know the difference and make your clients beautiful.
After your first set of classes,you step into our student salon. Under the careful watch of your instructor, you’ll cut hair for clients, just as you will in the real world.
We base the skills you practice in the student salon on learning concepts and techniques learned in the classroom. When you apply them on real people, you will begin to master the techniques. Soon you’ll be fully prepared to pursue the career you want.
You should also consider how hands-on experience will look to a potential employer. By the time you graduate from The Hair Design School, you’ll have several months of experience in styling, cutting and coloring hair. When you start your dream job, you’ll know what to do.
